Sold at the lower estimate price

In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Sans Titre (Diptych) by Tang Haiwen. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,744.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).

Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis

Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre (Diptych) von Tang Haiwen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.744,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
