Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Tang Haiwen was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 34,500.00 (€ 3,273.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tang Haiwen kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 34.500,00 (€ 3.273,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
