Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A: Sans Titre; B: Sans Titire; C: Sans Titre; D: Sans Titre Four Works by Tang Haiwen was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,896.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
