The work Calligraphy by Tan Yankai was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,097.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tan Yankai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 184,972.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tan Yankai kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 8.097,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tan Yankai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 184.972,32).
