This artwork by Tan Yankai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in December 2021. In the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction, the work Calligraphy in Running script sold for HKD 19,125.00 (€ 2,166.31) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tan Yankai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 184,972.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tan Yankai erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running script für HKD 19.125,00 (€ 2.166,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tan Yankai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 184.972,32).
