Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Calligraphy in Running script by Tan Yankai. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,287.50 (€ 938.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tan Yankai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 184,972.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running script von Tan Yankai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.287,50 (€ 938,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tan Yankai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 184.972,32).
