Bronfman auction, the work "Rémillons," Epicerie à Beaumont sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 59,567.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takanori Oguiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
