Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chartres, écluse sur l'Eure by Takanori Oguiss was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,199.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Takanori Oguiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chartres, écluse sur l'Eure von Takanori Oguiss kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.199,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19).
