Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Fuck You by Szabolcs Bozó. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 57,339.74). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Szabolcs Bozó - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 164,547.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fuck You von Szabolcs Bozó zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 57.339,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Szabolcs Bozó mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 164.547,95) versteigert wurde.
