In July this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art, which included the work Fred by Szabolcs Bozó. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,985.00 (€ 6,338.48), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Szabolcs Bozó achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 164,547.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fred von Szabolcs Bozó zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.985,00 (€ 6.338,48) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Szabolcs Bozó erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 164.547,95).
