Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Star Field Thistle by Susan Derges. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,569.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Susan Derges have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Selected Images From 'Full Circle' was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,958.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Star Field Thistle von Susan Derges zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.569,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Susan Derges konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Selected Images From 'Full Circle' für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.958,35) versteigert.
