Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Super Future Kid achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in March last year. In the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction, the work Flat Earth Jogging sold for HKD 176,400.00 (€ 20,306.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Super Future Kid; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bavarian Bromeister sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,317.72).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Super Future Kid erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Flat Earth Jogging für HKD 176.400,00 (€ 20.306,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Super Future Kid; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bavarian Bromeister im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.317,72).
