Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mon Cherry by Super Future Kid. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 2,902.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Super Future Kid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bavarian Bromeister in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,317.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mon Cherry von Super Future Kid zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 2.902,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Super Future Kid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bavarian Bromeister im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.317,72).
