Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Silent Thunder, 2017 by Super Future Kid was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,753.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Super Future Kid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bavarian Bromeister in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,317.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Silent Thunder, 2017 von Super Future Kid wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.753,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Super Future Kid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bavarian Bromeister im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.317,72).
