Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Work by Yasuo Sumi. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,065.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuo Sumi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work von Yasuo Sumi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.065,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66) versteigert wurde.
