Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fire In The Field by Suleiman Mansour was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 33,578.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suleiman Mansour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shaheda Min Tel al-Zaatar (The Witness of Tel al-Zaatar), which sold at auction in November last year for GBP 101,100.00 (€ 117,151.82).

Die Arbeit Fire In The Field von Suleiman Mansour kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 33.578,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Suleiman Mansour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shaheda Min Tel al-Zaatar (The Witness of Tel al-Zaatar) beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für GBP 101.100,00 (€ 117.151,82) versteigert wurde.
