This artwork by Sue Williams achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in May 2018. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Tighter Flocky with Green Yellow sold for USD 137,500.00 (€ 117,823.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sue Williams; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot New Yellow and Orange sold at auction in September this year with the realized price of USD 127,000.00 (€ 119,992.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sue Williams erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
