Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work My Garden Party by Su-en Wong for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,969.59). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su-en Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,877.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit My Garden Party von Su-en Wong für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.969,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Su-en Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.877,21) versteigert wurde.
