Despite a disappointment, a good price for Su-en Wong
This work of art by Su-en Wong could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, the work Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,877.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight is the most expensive artwork by Su-en Wong that we have observed at auction so far.
