Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Butter-and-Egg by Su-en Wong for USD 937.50 (€ 717.35). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su-en Wong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,877.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Butter-and-Egg von Su-en Wong für USD 937,50 (€ 717,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su-en Wong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mirage Lake/Peak Of Perfection/Twilight im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.877,21).
