Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stuart Maxwell Armfield could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Apples changed hands for GBP 120.00 (€ 177.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stuart Maxwell Armfield achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prayer in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,060.38).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Stuart Maxwell Armfield konnte im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prayer im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.060,38).
