Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stuart Maxwell Armfield could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction, the work Mushrooms changed hands for GBP 96.00 (€ 140.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stuart Maxwell Armfield achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prayer in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,060.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
