The work Two portraits of H.R.H. Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood (one illustrated) by Stephen Ward was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in October 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,830.57), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stephen Ward have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mandy Rice-Davies in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,078.33).

Die Arbeit Two portraits of H.R.H. Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood (one illustrated) von Stephen Ward wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.830,57) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephen Ward auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mandy Rice-Davies im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.078,33).
