Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vermont Victorian by Stephen Scott Young was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,109.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Scott Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Creole Girl (Red Bows) in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 348,000.00 (€ 258,678.36).

Die Arbeit Vermont Victorian von Stephen Scott Young kam im September 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.109,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
