Die Arbeit Sienna Scarf von Stephen Scott Young kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.362,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephen Scott Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Creole Girl (Red Bows) im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 348.000,00 (€ 258.678,36).
