Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (59-A13) by Stephen S. Pace was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2015. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,405.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen S. Pace - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 39,400.00 (€ 26,548.08).

Die Arbeit Untitled (59-A13) von Stephen S. Pace wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.405,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen S. Pace mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für USD 39.400,00 (€ 26.548,08) versteigert wurde.
