Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Stephen Ellis was sold in the POST WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in New York in November 2000. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,055.00 (€ 3,513.92). Other works by Stephen Ellis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,667.66) in July 2014 for the work without title.
