Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus by Stephen Conroy was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2015. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,267.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stephen Conroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L.R. in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Stephen Conroy kam im November 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 30.267,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephen Conroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L.R. im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.900,00 (€ 124.794,12).
