Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Sten Eklund for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,127.04). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sten Eklund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Kullahusets hemlighet" (Kullahussviten) in October this year with an auction result of SEK 300,000.00 (€ 25,406.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sten Eklund für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.127,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sten Eklund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Kullahusets hemlighet" (Kullahussviten) im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 300.000,00 (€ 25.406,89).
