Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Sten Eklund for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,977.56). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sten Eklund - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Kullahusets hemlighet" (Kullahussviten), which sold at auction in October this year for SEK 300,000.00 (€ 25,406.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sten Eklund für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.977,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sten Eklund mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Kullahusets hemlighet" (Kullahussviten) beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für SEK 300.000,00 (€ 25.406,89) versteigert wurde.
