Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nova Scotia by Stefan Kürten was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in February 2015. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,617.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stefan Kürten - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Western Music (16-teilige Serie), which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 23,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nova Scotia von Stefan Kürten wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.617,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stefan Kürten mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Western Music (16-teilige Serie) beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 23.800,00 versteigert wurde.
