Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Wittgenstein by Sophie von Hellermann for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,231.86). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie von Hellermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December last year with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Wittgenstein von Sophie von Hellermann für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.231,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42).
