This artwork by Sophie Calle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2018. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Twenty years later sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,428.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sophie Calle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 218,500.00 (€ 162,417.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sophie Calle erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Twenty years later für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.428,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie Calle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 162.417,30).
