In the Photographs auction, the work The Shadow (La Filature) sold for USD 53,340.00 (€ 48,315.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sophie Calle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sleepers (Les dormeurs), which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 162,417.30).

In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit The Shadow (La Filature) für USD 53.340,00 (€ 48.315,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sophie Calle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 162.417,30) versteigert wurde.
