In November 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Evening Sale of Works from the Peter Norton Collection, which included the work The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) by Sophie Calle. The »bidding war« ended at USD 218,500.00 (€ 162,417.30), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) is even the most expensive work of art by Sophie Calle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Evening Sale of Works from the Peter Norton Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) von Sophie Calle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 162.417,30) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
