Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Villa by Song Baochun was worth HKD 84,000.00 (€ 9,343.84) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Baochun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scholars On A Boat, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,379.00).

Die Arbeit Villa von Song Baochun war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 84.000,00 (€ 9.343,84) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Baochun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scholars On A Boat beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.379,00) versteigert wurde.
