Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Song Baochun was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,453.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Song Baochun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scholars On A Boat in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,379.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Song Baochun kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.453,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Baochun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scholars On A Boat im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.379,00).
