Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees In Valley by Song Baochun was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 1,948.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Baochun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scholars On A Boat in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,379.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees In Valley von Song Baochun kam im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 1.948,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Baochun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scholars On A Boat im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.379,00).
