Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Bienvenidos a Nuevo Estilo) by Sol Calero was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,250.00 (€ 6,853.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sol Calero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frutas Friestail, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,398.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bienvenidos a Nuevo Estilo) von Sol Calero kam im November 2016 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.250,00 (€ 6.853,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sol Calero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Frutas Friestail beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.398,92) versteigert wurde.
