Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Frutas by Sol Calero for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,560.83). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sol Calero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frutas Friestail in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,398.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frutas von Sol Calero für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.560,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sol Calero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frutas Friestail im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.398,92).
