In April 2021 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work So Warm Out, That's A Lot Of Sea Weed Chips by SoiL Thornton. The price achieved of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,088.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by SoiL Thornton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Deep Scrape was auctioned for USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,065.15).
