Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online, which included this untitled work by Sohan Qadri. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,877.58). Admittedly, works by Sohan Qadri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,797.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sohan Qadri zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.877,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sohan Qadri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.797,27).
