Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sohan Qadri could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,596.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sohan Qadri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,797.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sohan Qadri konnte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.596,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sohan Qadri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.797,27).
