Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Yellow) by Sohan Qadri was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,392.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sohan Qadri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,797.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Yellow) von Sohan Qadri wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.392,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sohan Qadri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.797,27).
