Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunyata by Sohan Qadri was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,291.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sohan Qadri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,797.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunyata von Sohan Qadri kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.291,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sohan Qadri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.797,27).
