The work Untitled - a six leaf folding screen by Sofu Teshigahara was sold in the Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,585.00 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sofu Teshigahara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93).

Die Arbeit Untitled - a six leaf folding screen von Sofu Teshigahara wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.585,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93).
