This artwork by William Reid Dick achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2008. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Sir Winston Churchill sold for GBP 28,100.00 (€ 36,753.70) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. This high result makes Sir Winston Churchill the most expensive artwork by William Reid Dick that we have observed at auctions so far.
