Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sir Winston Churchill by William Reid Dick was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2015. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,404.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Reid Dick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sir Winston Churchill, which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 28,100.00 (€ 36,753.70).

Die Arbeit Sir Winston Churchill von William Reid Dick kam im Juli 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.404,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
