Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.962,50 (€ 13.338,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Für andere Arbeiten von William Reid Dick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sir Winston Churchill beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 28.100,00 (€ 36.753,70) versteigert wurde.
