In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work On The Way To The Market, Jamaica by Noël Coward. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,579.52), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Noël Coward have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The View from Firefly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).

Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit On The Way To The Market, Jamaica von Noël Coward zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.579,52) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noël Coward auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The View from Firefly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 60.486,69).
